With years of experience coaching middle school and high school athletes, my mission is clear equip young people with the skills, mindset, and values they need to thrive both on and off the court.
The Oakland Devoir Youth Basketball Club is dedicated to developing elite student-athletes by fostering discipline, teamwork, and perseverance. Our mission is to equip players with the skills, knowledge, and mindset necessary to compete at the highest level, both on and off the court. Through structured training, competitive play, and academic support.
As a mentor and educator, I believe it’s our duty to ensure that each generation is better prepared than the last. Whether it’s through basketball training, academic support, or leadership development, I am committed to making a lasting impact in the lives of my students and athletes, fostering a culture of growth, respect, and responsibility.
At the Oakland Devoir Youth Basketball Club, we focus on developing well-rounded student-athletes who excel both on and off the court. Our mission is to provide young people with the tools they need for success in life, academics, and athletics. We emphasize the "Student" in student-athlete, requiring our players to maintain a high GPA while also offering academic support. Alongside intense basketball training, we provide mentorship, leadership development, and life skills coaching, helping athletes prepare for future opportunities such as college admissions and scholarships.
More than just a sports program, Oakland Devoir Project is a community-driven initiative committed to creating lasting impact. We foster values like discipline, respect, and responsibility while promoting health, wellness, and positive social interactions. Our goal is to inspire the next generation of leaders who will uplift their communities and contribute to positive change.
